This client was needing a complete redesign of a predicate device, that would allow them to make a disruptive entrance into a single-competitor market. Leveraging Advantage Platforms and Advantage Technologies, the first broadly commercialized Cooled RF system for bone tumors was developed.
Nerve Tissue RF Ablation
Our client needed to rapidly enter the nerve ablation market and sought after the opportunity to leverage a platform technology already tried, tested and trusted in a parallel division of their company. Our internal expertise and platforms for both generator and pump technology were used to produce one of the most versatile and smart radiofrequency ablation medical devices. The technology was designed to meet very specific criteria for clinical success, defined by consistent and predictable energy delivery.Renal RF Ablation
High blood pressure is traditionally treated with pharmaceuticals. When this two-person company determined a new way of addressing this critical disease, they came to RBC with their brand new concept: A renal denervation device to treat chronic hypertension by ablating sympathetic nerve bundles using a basket catheter in the renal artery
